It's about that time again to dream about deep ones... er... I mean, thinking about where to go SCUBA diving.

Anyone have any thoughts?

From a quick look at what the cruise offers, there is SCUBA offered at St. Maarten and... that's about it.

Does anyone know if St. Kitts has good diving?

I'm not a diver (and I can't even play one on TV since I don't breathe too good no more :~() and I've never been to St. Kitts but it looks like it's (become?) a great a place for those of you who can dive... (probably in part because the cruiselines don't offer dives so the reef is still alive!)

I have currently a reservation for 6 at Dive St. Kitts. All six slots are currently filled, but I can expand it if there is interest.

My wife and I are also currently planning to register for the official dive excursion at St. Maartens as soon as it becomes available.

I went diving in St. Maarten last year with Norwegian Cruise Lines. We had 2 sites, but the first was in open sea. There was 6' swell and it was interesting getting back on the dive boat. Recommend decent fitness as it can be a bit exhausting. Just an FYI, not sure what dive sites will be used on RCI.

Dive was beautiful though. Have fun.

Waaaahhhh! I have my heart set (and reservations made) on The Extreme zipline adventure and I think it conflicts with the one open water scuba dive. Oh poop. Guess I'll either have to find my own dive elsewhere, or settle for other water activities.

cybertyche, I was planning to contact PADI Pro Divers at St. Kitts to set up a dive. But if you already have something set up and there's space for one more, I'd be interested. Thx.
