  • Love it!
  • lol  I think I know what my next project is going to be named now...
  • OK, folks. I finally figured out what to do about stickers. I'm just going to order a batch of 3"x3" vinyl stickers. If you are interested, email me ([email protected]) your address and I'll send you one for free. It will take at least a few weeks as I still need to order them.
    Thanks!
  • Good news everyone!
    The stickers have arrived! Woo!
If you want one and haven't contacted me yet, now is the time to do so.image
  • Would anyone care to give a premonkey a primer on what the heck Warm Bread is exactly as it relates to JCCC? I have done my due diligence and consulted The Google, but remain unenlightened beyond the following http://www.thefuzzyslug.com/tag/jccc4/  I am convinced there is a story to be told <strikes best listening attentively quizzically and expectantly pose>
  • On JCCC4, the main dining room staff started dinner with an announcement that we should share our applause for waaaaaaaarm breaaaaaaaaaad, and then servers came around with baskets of warm bread while "Hot Hot Hot" played over the speakers.

In the Sea Monkey spirit, we many of us played along with increasingly exuberant displays for warm bread, including signs.

Of course, ironies being what they are, the parade ensured that the bread was no longer warm by the time it reached most tables. No matter: we celebrated anyway. :)

Thanks guys!  I'm afraid I've never been particularly receptive to pomp and circumstance. But now I owe it all to you who showed me the light. I shall celebrate any such displays in the future with (in)appropriate exuberance :)

♫ Aserejé, ja, de je, de jebe tu de jebere sebiunouva, majabi an de bugui an de buididipi.... ♫

Oops, that wasn't the warm bread parade; that was the ketchup dance. ;-)

  • I actually thought the "Warm Bread" thing every night was annoying and tended to interrupt my dinner conversation. The first night or two, it was amusing, but then it started to get really old.
  • Yes, I imagine that after a few nights the routine would get, er, stale. [G,D,&R]
  • One of the reasons I sought out tables in the "wings" of the MDR was to avoid all of that Elgar......
  • @Angelastic's Bandcamp feed alerted me to Adam Sakellarides' song "Warm Bread", recorded right after the cruise:
